Forte teams up with Avid Technology to bring Pro Tools customers automated mix prep and export workflows.

Forte is a powerful new ecosystem designed to fully automate the most repetitive and time-consuming parts of music production inside Pro Tools. Built for mixing engineers, producers, and musicians, Forte takes care of the heavy lifting—freeing creatives to stay in the zone, finish projects faster, and constantly elevate the quality of their work.
Forte for Pro Tools is a modular automation ecosystem that streamlines both session prep and mix exports. It currently includes two core modules:
Forte Import automates all key mix prep tasks—from track naming and color coding to routing, fake stereo-to-mono conversion, automatic instrument recognition, and intelligent renaming. It seamlessly works with users’ own Pro Tools templates and allows for custom preset creation, ensuring fast, consistent results across projects.
Forte Export dramatically speeds up the bounce process. In just a few clicks, users can print multiple versions of a mix—TV Mix, a cappella, stems, and more—saving significant time and eliminating the need for repetitive manual work.
As part of its partnership with Avid Technology, Forte offers Pro Tools customers with active subscriptions and perpetual upgrade plans an enhanced free experience of its ecosystem.

Forte for Pro Tools is available now to all Pro Tools customers with an active subscription or perpetual upgrade running version 2023.12 or later (set to English) on macOS 11 or newer. Customers can find the Forte for Pro Tools installer in their Avid Account or via Avid Link.
