What is Forte Import?

Forte Import is a module of Forte, a standalone app that automates tedious, repetitive tasks in the mixing process, such as importing files, sorting and categorizing them, color coding and renaming tracks and much more. This helps music producers save significant time and focus on the creative aspects of their work.

How do I install Forte Import?

Forte Import is part of the Forte ecosystem, managed by a single installer. Just create a free account on the Forte website, download and run the Forte Installer.

Which OS does Forte support?

As of today, only macOS is supported with plans to extend compatibility in the future.

Is Import free?

Forte offers a 7-day free trial with full access to both Import and Export modules. After the trial ends, you can continue using Forte for free, but with limited functionality. PLEASE NOTE: A special version of Forte (Forte for Pro Tools) is available through Avid Link to all Pro Tools Artist, Studio, and Ultimate customers with active subscriptions and perpetual upgrade plans (requires Pro Tools 2023.12 or later, English language, macOS 11+) and gives you access to an augmented free version of the software.
