Forte offers a 7-day free trial with full access to both Import and Export modules. After the trial ends, you can continue using Forte for free, but with limited functionality. PLEASE NOTE: A special version of Forte (Forte for Pro Tools) is available through Avid Link to all Pro Tools Artist, Studio, and Ultimate customers with active subscriptions and perpetual upgrade plans (requires Pro Tools 2023.12 or later, English language, macOS 11+) and gives you access to an augmented free version of the software.

A “Pay-once license” means you own Forte forever and it includes 12 months of updates. After that, renewing the yearly Update Pack is optional: €29 (Forte for Logic Pro), €39 (Forte for Pro Tools), or €49 (Forte for ALL DAWs). The Update Pack provides new features and keeps Forte compatible with DAWs like Pro Tools and Logic Pro, which update frequently. If you choose not to renew, you can keep using your current version of Forte and simply avoid updating your DAW to maintain compatibility.
