How do I get started with Forte?

Just create a free account, download and run the installer. PLEASE NOTE: Forte is compatible with Pro Tools 2024.3 or later on macOS 11+. Your DAW needs to be set to English.

Is Forte for Pro Tools free?

You can try Forte free for 15 days. Then you may continue to use it for free (with limitations) or upgrade to one of our plans. PLEASE NOTE: Pro Tools customers with an active subscription or a perpetual upgrade plan can download 'Forte for Pro Tools from their Avid account or directly from Avid Link. This is a special free version of Forte that with up to 16 tracks of Import and 2 custom prints for Export (instead of 8 and 1). Users can then upgrade as they see fit, based on their needs.

How does Forte work with my Pro Tools templates?

Forte is designed to seamlessly integrate with your Pro Tools mixing templates, so you don't have to change your workflow. Forte reads your routings, template structure and is able to lay out a session for you exactly the way you want.

Which OS does Forte support?

Currently Forte only works on macOS 11 or later. Windows or Linux are not yet supported.
