Take the turnover as it arrives
fPost imports AAF files exported from Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Final Cut Pro does not export AAF directly, so it is not supported natively, but a short guide shows how to convert a Final Cut export into an AAF for use with fPost. You can also open an existing PTX session instead.
Recognize what is in it
Content detection reads the material and works out what each track is, so the session can be built to your template instead of to whatever the picture editor happened to name things.
Reorganize to your template
PTX reorganize maps the incoming session onto the routing, naming and track order you already work in. Multi-AAF imports land in one session rather than several.
Nothing leaves the Mac
Recognition and processing run on your machine, offline. That is what makes the apps usable on material under NDA.
