Remove Silence in Logic Pro

Enable Remove Silence in fMusic's Import Customization panel before importing. fMusic processes silence removal during import and your Logic Pro project arrives with clean tracks.

How to enable it

  1. Open fMusic Import
  2. Click Customize
  3. Enable the Remove Silence toggle
  4. Set threshold and minimum duration
  5. Run the import

Logic Pro handles silence removal differently from Pro Tools at the engine level. fMusic accounts for this automatically. No additional configuration is required; the same settings panel works for both DAWs.

Logic Pro specifics

Logic Pro's audio engine processes silence regions differently from Pro Tools internally. fMusic normalizes these differences so you get consistent results regardless of which DAW you're using. The threshold and duration controls work identically between the two.

Remove Silence in Logic Pro was introduced in fMusic 2.0. It requires Logic Pro 11.1 or later.
