Home Screen
When you open fPost, the Home Screen gives you two ways to bring in a session. Both paths lead to the same Visualizer where you organize your tracks.
Import an AAF file
Click Import files or drag your .aaf file directly onto the fPost window. fPost parses the file, extracts all tracks and clips, and runs automatic classification. This is the most common workflow.
Drag and drop is the fastest way to start. Drop your AAF anywhere on the fPost window and a drop overlay appears to confirm.
Use a Pro Tools session
If Pro Tools is already open with a session, click Use current session. fPost reads it directly, no file needed.
To open a specific session file, click Open existing session and browse to your .ptx file. fPost opens it in Pro Tools and reads its contents automatically.
