Custom Prints (Pro Tools)

Learn how to easily create custom prints (stems, individual or grouped tracks) in Forte Export.

Creating a custom print

1. In Forte, click the Create Custom Print button
2. Forte automatically displays all the tracks available in your current session
3. Click to select the tracks you want to include (for example, all drum tracks to create a "Drums" print)
4. Enter a name for your custom print (e.g., "Drums")
5. Confirm the creation: your custom print is now set up

Creating multiple prints

Repeat the process to create additional prints for other track groups: guitars, vocals, effects, or anything else. You can create as many custom prints as you need, grouping tracks however you prefer.

Printing and exporting

Once your custom prints are set, proceed to export. See Print Parameters (Pro Tools) to configure file format, bit depth, sample rate, and export location. To choose between grouped and individual output, see Grouped vs Individual prints.
