Print Parameters (Pro Tools)

Click Print Selected in Forte Export to open the print settings panel. Configure all parameters before starting the bounce.

Base name

Set a base name to keep your exported files organized. This name is applied across all prints in the current export run.

Mix source

Select what gets exported. Options include:

  • Mix Print: exports the main mix
  • Master Print: exports from the master output
  • Output: exports from a specific Pro Tools output
  • Custom source: any other available routing destination

File type

Choose the audio format for the exported files: WAV or AIFF.

Bounce method

  • Online: real-time bounce through your hardware chain
  • Offline: faster, non-real-time bounce
  • Automatic: Forte selects the method based on your setup

Bit depth

Choose 16-bit, 24-bit, or 32-bit to match your project or delivery requirements.

Sample rate

Match the project sample rate or override it to meet delivery specifications.

Export location

Select the destination folder where bounced files will be saved. Examples: a dedicated "Bounced Files" folder or any custom location.

Starting the print

After configuring all parameters, click Print. Forte exports the selected prints to the specified location with your chosen settings.

Common delivery setups

  • Mastering stems: WAV, 24-bit, 48 kHz, Grouped, Offline
  • Remix package: WAV, 24-bit, session rate, Individual, Offline
  • Sync delivery: WAV, 24-bit, 48 kHz, Grouped, Offline
  • Broadcast (with outboard hardware): WAV, 24-bit, 48 kHz, Online
