How to import files
Two ways to import audio into fMusic.
Option 1: Drag and drop
Drag your audio files directly into the fMusic window. fMusic analyzes them instantly using AI-R, then organizes, color-codes, and renames every track automatically. This is the fastest method.
Option 2: Import button
Click Import Audio Files in fMusic. Select your files from the file browser. Same result as drag and drop: AI-R runs on every file.
After fMusic processes your files, it sends the organized tracks to your DAW automatically. You do not need to do anything manually in Pro Tools or Logic Pro.
What AI-R does during import
AI-R reads the raw audio signal of each file, not the filename or metadata. It identifies the instrument, assigns it to the correct category, applies your naming rules, sets the color, and maps the routing. All of this happens before the tracks arrive in your DAW.
