Quick file audition

Audition any audio file directly inside fMusic before committing to import. No need to open your DAW or a separate audio player.

How to audition a file

Click the play button next to any track in the fMusic Import list. The audio plays back immediately inside the app. Click the button again or click stop to end playback.

Auditioning multiple files

Click play on the next track while audio is playing. fMusic stops the current file and starts the new one instantly. Work through a list of takes quickly without stopping.

When to use it

• Verifying you have the correct takes before import
• Checking for corrupt or silent files before they reach your DAW
• Quickly reviewing unfamiliar session content
• Confirming AI-R categorized a file correctly by listening to it
